Flywheel is the only thing different of what you have mentioned. Thats because of the crank.
All outer components can be interchanged (except for the timing cover, as mentioned) as bolt hole location and physical dimensions have not changed.

The holes in the alternator/PS bracket do not line upby like 1/8 inch, the gen 6 brackets use 7/16 bolts in slightly different location then the 3/8 bolts used in MK IV, You can usually drill an offset hole with a drill press in the bracket.
The MK IV sea water pump bracket is ok but,,, the sea water pump itself is longer on a GEN 6 so the pully sticks out as farther on the Gen 6 by about 1/8-3/16 " so when going from a Mk IV to gen 6 you have to shim the bracket to get the pullies to line up , you are going the other way so this is a problem you may need the mk IV pump
The oil filter remote adapter and fittings ( the part that connects to the block where an oil filter normally goes on an automotive engine ) is different you will need one from a MK IV . The remote oil filter mounts on the exh manifold and it is fine. The oil lines from the gen 6 will not be right for the mk iv remote adapter tho so they will need to be new.
Flywheel and balancer are different for the MK IV crank you will need MK IV,
Timing cover is different
oil pan is different and so dip stick as well
the starter motor is ok MK IV has an extra mounting bolt the gen 6 doesn't use so its fine going 6 to 4 a problem going 4 to 6
Belhousing and motor mounts are ok

Yes, I do remember buying a new dip stick and remote oil connection to the block. But all other stuff I took off my M4 (1987- 454/330) and bolted directly on to my G6 (1996 - 502). I did buy a new G6/bravo water pump for it as well. (Had an Alpha w/454) However, I went back to a M4 style (aftermarket Dart) block this year and bought the same waterpump again. I did have to shim the water pump but it did bolt right on.
