Default Jett Hott Coating

I was wondering if anyone has had a aluminum intake coated then used in saltwater. Can they get enough coverage in water passages and will it withstand corrosion.

when I got mine done they could not guarantee they could get the water jacket covered.

From what I saw in there they did pretty well though. Somethings better than nothing, right?

It looks nice too.

I did the intake on my Hemi, it's an old Rat Roaster, and it looks great. It can be polished with some Flitz and very little elbow grease.
Coat the outside and water passages, don't coat the intake runners. The slightly rough surfaces of the runners helps to keep fuel in suspention under part throttle conditions.

THIS WAS 4 YEARS AGO. HAVE NO PIC'S. SOLD ENGINES.
THEY DO LOOK GOOD BUT YOU CAN POWDER COAT MUCH CHEAPER. I DON'T BELIEVE THE IDEA OF HEAT LOSS APPLES TO A MARINE ENGINE. I DID NOT SEE A CHANGE. MY 2 CENTS

Dyno- I use Air Born Coatings in East Hartford, CT
I don't remember the exact amount, but I think it was right around $200.00 +/- a few. It is also a three piece manifold, and I think they are around 140.00 for a standard manifold.
They've done thermal barrier and powder coating on my bikes, and cars and I've always had great work come out of their shop, I've also used Color Life out of NYC and had great results as well.
