This was taken durring our last cold snap. Wish I had gotten there earlier as the lighting was not all that great but this was so cool to see. I have seen this before but never as much as it was. At times it was hard to see across the harbor it was so thick. Man it was cold that day!!!!!

No smog around these parts Mr. LA LA LANDER Just real cold air hitting relatively (to the temperature of the air) water.

OK Jon, I will take some pics of Lake Superior this weekend. How does 20ft waves hitting the lighthouse and splashing over the top. This is more than 35ft. Now in the Winter that water freezes and makes an ice coffin. I'll bring this back Monday with the pics.

Jon, This sucks look what was banging up against the back of the house today!! It's hard to tell from the pics these things are like 6 foot by 10 foot and 8 inches thick. hitting the house with the big tides today.
