Just got back from the keys. I had no time to check in on the board.

My question is why do guys in FL spend so much time on the board?

I understand why us northerners spend the time but you FL guys have it made!

Honestly, I think you cold weather guys get much more out of your boating than some of us do. You appreciate the warm climate and opportunity for boating more. During the season, you go out every weekend, sometimes trailering the boat on long road trips and have a blast. I actually went to the Keys last May I've had my boat out TWICE since then. This is the worst I've ever been about that. I normally make sure I get the boat out at least twice per month, even in the winter. With us, we sit around and say, "Let's see, do I take the boat out ?? Naah, there's always next weekend." (You can even say this in January) There's never that anticipation of "boating season" because all that means down here is that it's going to be as hot as hell soon.

I think I'm getting bored because the boating "venues" in Central Florida suck and I've never found a good group of boating friends to hit the water with on a regular basis.

Am I whining or what ??
