Good deal or bad?

The guy who built my boat engine/drive wants to swap my Alpha SS for a Bravo 1. Wants 3-400 bucks to do it(pull my motor/drive put it back tpgether with the Bravo).
Even swap for the drives, another guy wants an SS for a single 22 Checkmate single seat dragboat sbc blown.
What do ya'll think? I think 300 and I'll help...

You will need to raise the drive mounting to have anywhere near the same level of performance.
Also the bravo drive has a bigger bullit so you will have more drag.
Get the X way up and run a 4 blade prop.

He's doing it for a really good price too. Maybe you can work a shortened lower into the deal so you don't need to move the gimble assembly.
