Default Ugland Offshore Racing

Hi!

Believe it or not. Randy Scism is in Lillesand, Norway, preparing Ugland Offshore Racing schedule for 2004.

Visited their plant today and checked out their MTI cat for The Offshore Class One. And met Randy Scism as well. Nice bloke. He showed me his 39 pleasure / race model with twin Yanmar 415 HP diesels and Arnesons surface drives. It runs in excess of 100 mph (103 mph + in fact).

Great speed for a 39 feet cat and relative low horsepower. Nortech 36 feet with similar engines, runs 80 mph +. I have tested it, and wot was 82 mph...

So the world is not big in the end.

How is the MTI cat looking for 2004? What engine are they running?
