Duck Key vs Frt Meyers Beach

I am thinking of cashing in condo in the keys and heading to Ft Meyers what everyone think of that area I know beaches are better

You will get a lot more for your money in Fort Myers. Boating wise, it's a lot cooler temps, but a lot of place to hang out there.

I've got a place on the West Coast but am thinking of something in the Keys (pretty much just for the better winter temperatures). Can I ask why the switch?
