Could someone tell me the main diffrences between the 2 hulls??? I am talking about speeds, ride, how they handle the rough, how they manuever, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, I'll grab the block of cheese.

Quickly... Cats are about 20% faster all things being equal. The faster a cat is going the softer the ride becomes as it rides more and more on a cushion of air. How they handle the rough is a matter of debate; most people feel strongly that one or the other is better in the rough. It really boils down to what size cat you're talking about and how fast the cat can go in these conditions. Maneuvering around the docks is a little easier with a cat (twins only) because the props are located farther apart. Cat's usually are a little more stable also because of the inherent stability of the design and wide beam. In a nut shell, cats are basically better all around when it comes to performance. The down side is lack of cabin space and much higher cost to insure.

Okay... let it begin!
