No More Payments ! ! ! !

Paid the Thoroughbred off about 2 years ago and just this minute faxed off the wire transfer instructions to pay off the house. Now the only guy I'm working for is myself and Uncle Sam.

I think I deserve to go sit on MY back porch and have a beer!

Ha! I paid my house off in '98. Today my taxes ALONE are 30% more per month than my total payment (principle,interest,taxes and insurance) were when I bought it! Another way of looking at it...in 5 years I'll give my town as much in taxes as I paid for the house.
