Are these the going prices for this safety equip. or is it priced like this because of the racers..GEEZZZ $500.00 for a safety vest...I know alot of you are gonna say whats your life worth,but is this the going rate for a safety vest. I can see 200 or 250 but 500.00...Were not all deep pocket racers,but I guess if we play we pay right! I just found out the stuff I`ve been wearing wont hold up at High speed contact.

seriously though, if you look at what goes into those vests i think you'll find they are fair priced. workman ship is second to none and in a boat like yours do you really want to save a few bucks of that perticular item.

i think you've ansewred your own question though. in a high speed impact you current vests will not hold up . . .lifelines will . . period.

Glassdave, I agree with you. I have had a regular lifejacket ripped off of me after getting thrown out of my Apache. I don't take shortcut's on my life anymore. Invest in your life, its worth it to me. Jerrod
