Fountains are good boats. They're pretty fast even with mild stock power. They can hold their own with most any boat, in most any kind of water. Pricing is good when compared to the top-tier 'custom' builders.

Every other boat pretty much sucks.
(i have substantial holdings in orville redenbacher inc.)

On my 2nd Fountain. Very solid boats.
A friend has a 25 Donzi, also a solid boat, but I'm partial to Fountain.
As you will be told, check them both out and get a test ride. It's your payment book, might as well get what you like.

BTW, don't classify Fountain as a "cig" boat. They aren't, they're BETTER, but without the inflated price.

coming right up! Reason I ask is b/c I have a buddy looking to get a Donzi, and he keeps telling me a Fountain isnt as good of a boat as a Donzi, and I just find that hard to believe as I am leaning toward the Fountain......35'-40' range.......

Both are great boats, but if you really want quality input tell us more of what you are looking for?

1. Size Boat
2. Stock Power/Custom
3. Speed
4. Cabin Size
