I am Looking for a new 35-38' offshore. Here's the question.....What have you ridden in lately at around say 85mph that at spped gives you a feeling of confidence; or if you had a bad experience share that too please. By the way....I do want a new boat....and I do know for certain that a cig will do the job....just wanted some additional feedback before I cast away a couple hundred grand....the cig is a bit out of my price range...so what's next on the list ???

I was 88 mph on December 28 (In Michigan! brrr...) in a 41 Saber. I know it's a little bigger than you specified, but that was the most confident I've felt in a boat, ever!

I've also been about 80 in a 38 Cougar. BIG boat, handles rough water as good as any boat I've ever been in.

Look for a used 37 Outerlimits. My answer is obviously biased but I have never been so comfortable at that speed in anything else. Actually it gets rather boring after a while, thats why so many customers opt for the bigger HP's. Good luck!

I have seen Top Guns priced from $65k-$500k, It depends on year/power, also on your price range, but there is a Cig out there for everyone!

I went riding in a 2003 35 Formula fastech with stellings boxes and 525's doing 84 on the gps and it was rock solid. Hell it rode so good I had to buy one.
