Default No Milwaukee Race?

Am i reading the schedule wrong or is there going to be no race in Milwaukee this year?

I thought the race was well attended and racers and officials alike said they were defintely comeing back for '04.

No doubt Mill. was the best attended race..It would be a real shame if no one races there this year.. I am sure they are being courted.

The Pair-a-dice race team worked the hot pits in Milwaukee last year and everyone told us they would love to come back to Milwaukee in 2004,Great place to watch a race

I thought it was an outstanding venue and the people of Milwaukee were great! Unfortunately I don't think the local police department was too thrilled to see us there. Some of the local PD almost seemed like borderline harassment. Also the DNR was about to blow a fuse over us being on their water. I think offshoregal, (Jen) has some info that may better explain some of the issues with Milwaukee.
I hope things would work out. I'd love to go back.

Everybody was saying great things about the race. How they thought the welcome mat was so wonderful and they wanted to make it happen next year. That's why I'm not suprised it won't happen.

I live near Milwaukee and watch the race last summer.
Intense I thought.
No body *****ed at all on TV that night either.
So I give it a thumbs up for 2004.
Milwaukee is a fast minded city, it will be here.
