That is whats left of Howard Hughes old plane . I saw it on Discovery last week I think it was the spruce goose or something like that. it was converted into a boat. It has all the original stuff from the plane

Nope. The Spruce Goose used to be on display in Long Beach, Ca. and has since (1997) been disassembled and moved by barge up the coast to McMinnville, Oregon, just southwest of Portland.
The owner of Evergreen (huge freight and aviation company) along with donations, completely rebuilt the aircraft and built a new museum for it and other aviation memorabilia. I saw the aircraft by special appointment while it was disassembled. If you are ever in the northwest, it is a must see.
That interesting craft you see there looks to be the nose of an old Boeing 707 or possible DC-8; somebody with an awful lot of disposable income.

Yeah, it is even more unusual than my products converting a Sonic into a fishboat! <gg>

It passed us going the other way in the ICW near Hollywood, FL.

Check out www.planeboats.com for the full story....Boeing 307 Stratoliner.

Cheers,
