Default Bravo 1 to XR

Can I remove my Bravo 1 and bolt a XR up to my stock gimbal? Or do I have to change to the HD gimbal? I have Imco external steering and the boat weights 3500 lbs. I know I lose the trim sensor with the HD gimbal. Any thoughts? Doug

Yes you can bolt it up BUT you need merc's #30-862540a 2. It contains trim limit spacers and gimbal bearing. You sould do a 822374a 2 HD ring kit or use Imco's new HD gimbal ring.

If you run an IMCO extreme SC you can bolt it up without changing anything.
