Default Valve Cover Breather Hose

Does anyone know what the internal diameter of the hose that comes off a typical BBC valve cover breather is? This is the hose that runs from the breather to the flame arrestor. Help . . .

hehe just went out into the snowstorm and measured mine, they are 1/2". from 7.4 valve covers, little plastic elbows. If somebody has 3/4, they probably have too much blow-by.

I think 1/2 is the score . . . and thanks for the effort in the snowstorm. Does anyone have a clue where a guy could get some of that nifty stainless steel looking hose (or hose sleeve) and ends to make the breather hoses look sano? I am running out of things to occupy my mind as I slosh through the snow in my one horse open sleigh . . .
