Default $1000 a Foot

At least that's what the ad was going to read before I discovered that the Boats for Sale section is going bye-bye again. I even just up'd my membership to Platinum a couple weeks ago to be able to post. Guess I should have posted it yesterday.

I really prefered the Boats for Sale Board section to the formal classifieds, as without a good search function (or at least I've not found it) it was much easier to see what was new or changed in the Board section. Maybe they will add a good search function to the Classifieds??

I agree Greg, I like that section for the same reason.

Ditto, search function was great. Hopefully, they will create one in the other section.

How unfortunate, I too always went there first. It was a great forum to ask the seller questions, post multiple pictures, give and get feedback. I find the Classifieds too generic and sterile with no posting feature. Me no likey

I especially liked the way others are able to make comments about the boat.

I don't think they run this site as a non-profit, good for them, free stuff always brings in the rif-raf.

I always enjoyed it as well. I wish that they would reconsider their decision. I know that some of the advertisers would post a boat there before it would be offered to the general public giving OSOers first shot at it.

I agree that it should stay. I think a lot of people post classified ads but also use the for sale section as a "tickler" to get people to look at their ad.

I think if it goes people will post in the general disc area.
