Default Structural Fiberglass guy in Chicago Area

My list of things to fix just keeps growing. It's looking more like if I'm going to get my boat in the water this summer, I'll have to pay someone to fix my transom.

Can anyone recommend a good structural fiberglass guy in the Chicago area?

I'm 20 miles west of Chicago. I have no problem dragging the thing a good distance for quality work.
Thanks
DS

Zanie,
I used Boat Specialists in Bensenville for new stringer work. Seemed to do a good job. Structural glass guys seem very few and far between in this area.

Good luck
Paul

Zanie,
I have use Contour Fiberglass 847-838-9320. They are located on Grasslake road between Fox Lake and Antioch. They did great work on our previous boat, matched the gelcoat color perfectly. We did not have major work done, only 2 small scratches. However, I did see them working on a boat that had a hole in the side from a jet ski.

Chris Merrill of Merrill Marine----he's been at fiberglass repair for 25 years and is a real straight shooter. He works on a TON of offshore boats plus he builds boats. Scott Grady knows him well and so does Doug1 (Pure Adreniline). He's near Granger, Indiana about 5 miles east of Southbend. His phone number 574-272-1697

I second the Contour fiberglass guy.....he did a few different repairs for some friends and you cant tell a thing was done!!! Matched the gell and everything!
