It Was 40 Years Ago Today, that......

that Sgt. Pepper and the boys began to play,
in the good ole U.S. of A.....
I remember it like it was this morning.
Col. Parker and Elvis sent a telegram congratulating them and wishing them success that Ed Sullivan read before the second set that first night.
When "Beatles 65" came out, you really began to believe they were different.
Then "Revolver" and "Rubber Soul"
For better or for worse, music today is the result of, and only of, one band, THE BEATLES!!!!!
LONG LIVE JOHN, PAUL, GEORGE, AND RINGO.
In our minds and in our ears......................

Got the 6-DVD Anthology for Christmas last year. W-O-W!
Actually met George Harrison about 10 years ago. Very cool guy - really into neat cars.

Ouch, for that comment, though I suppoose it's true, you have to listen to her sing two songs.
