I gotta say thanks to Matt and Julie for spending time with us on Tuesday. Thom from Hydro brought his new P5X 5 blades and some P5's for us to try on the Gladiator. The X's accelerated like a freight train!! We also tried the new proto 6 blades and some other 5's. It was a long day for BruceK and I but well worth the trip. I can see a set of new props in my future!! It is also cool that some fellow OSO'rs showed up to watch. We had some fun but as usual the numbers all got blended in my head and I cant remember what did what. Thankfully Bruce has a better memory! We also got pulled over in the test area by the Pinellas Sheriff. I figured that I had a fat ticket coming because we had been hauling back and forth. When he came up I shut the boat off and he said "I love the sound of that boat"!! He told us to stay clear of other boats and go WFO!! He even stayed for a high speed pass of his boat. The funny part was that where he told us to run wide open was really close to the houses that were complaining!! All in all it was a good time.

Congrats with your new boat. That is one of my favorite Gladiators out there. I feel good now knowing I might have helped pay for it with all the $$$$s I spent in your club last year when I was there during the Daytona APBA Offshore Race. Best of Luck again. What are you naming her?????
