Default sunpad/engine hatch upholstry price?

I just got a price for redoing my engine hatch on my 206. The guy said 800 for the whole thing with the same colors!! Is that a good price?? reason: you can't tell my the pictures but all the seams are coming apart and the skipole thing put a hole in the rear pad becuase the previous owner let it swing all the way open!

I had mine done 4 years ago because it too, was coming apart (same colors). I got the fabric direct from Formula (through the upholstery shop). Also had the bottom of the rear seat redone and got enough vinyl to do the rest of the interior. I think I paid about $800 for that , but then again , that was 4 years ago.

I'm looking at around $1400 for my 311 with new foam, so $800 sounds good!

Ask for the extra vinyl, and you can redo the wood along the sides of the boat yourself pretty easily.

I spent $ 1200 for my 357. the sun pad and back seat with new foam. I made all the new marine plywood sub sturcture for them.

800 sounds good to me as long as he does a good job.

GET THE MATERIAL FROM FORMULA OR AT LEAST MAKE SURE IT IS OF THE SAME GRADE.

(yes, the all caps mean I'm screaming)

Cost me $650.00 just to have the sunpad redone without new foam. $800.00 seems fair to me if it is done well with Formula-grade material.
