Question Blown 25 Baja ?

I seen this boat and I was wondering, shouldn't this run a bit faster?

2001 25 Outlaw. Procharged 496HO. 3.5lbs boost. Runs 75+ on GPS. Labbed 27P mirage+ prop.

Shouldn't this run a bit faster?

Maybe not. He picked up 7 - 8 mph with only 3.5psi of boost.

I think you are talking about my boat. It run 75 with a full load under normal conditions. It could use some more prop tweeking for more speed. We set it up to be reliable. The best I have seen is 77.8mph GPS. It ran around 67 stock with a 23 Mirage +. For not alot of money you could put on a 5lb kit and a bigger prop probably run 80. 75 is not bad for 3.5lbs boost. Non stepped, Baja. 4 people, cooler and whatever else my wife crammed in the cuddy.

WE CAN MAKE THE PROP COME ALIVE

GO WITH THE ACCLERATOR DESIGN AND THAT WILL GET GO 2.5 TO 3 MPH BETTER AT LEAST.

HoustonProp, I thought about going with the Accelerator if I was going to keep it. What is the cost to have this done? It Does pretty well with the 27 but I know it still has some left in it. I wil be calling you when I figure out what I am getting next.
Thanks

My buddy is in the process of building a 750hp blown 502 for is 25' Baja. I'll let you know how it turns out this spring. I'm sure it will be a handful.
