Talking 1968 Nova 90% restored (boat)

An original 1968 Nova still running strong. Just cant kill that jack shaft v-drive setup.

I figured it was a boat only because a buddy of mine has a 250 Nova. Don't know the year but it originally came with 2 6 cylinders. He installed two 350 and it will run in the mid 70s. But, I didn't like being in the boat running 70+. It does not exactly give one a feeling of confidence. It's downright scary.

My boat has 2 289CI Holman &Moody's . it doesnt get squirelly at all, but because its an inboard the props get some serious cavitation when they get anywhere near the surface. I've been looking for a solution to this, IE adding cup and rake but nothing seems to help.

PS if anyone know of any Hi perf inboard props that might work let me know. I am currently running 13 x 17 super cups. Seems like the only good inboard props are all RH ski boat props

sweet boat, one of the marinas i do biz with has one for sale.

actually when i saw tha word Nova i never thought of the car until you guys brought it up. I expected to see a boat . kinda funny i used to be into cars huge but the bigger my boats get the less interested i am in my cars (WAY pro streeted 57 chev truck an a 71 TA). think'n about dump'n the 57 and geting a bigger boat , my motto these days is "if i cant get there by water i aint go'n"
