Default 340, 380 outdrive alignment

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has messed around with drive alignment for best overall performance?
I checked my drives and they were "heel in" about 3/4" or more. I readjusted them to about 1/8" to 1/16" heel in. But I was wondering if anyone has already come up with an adjustment that already is known to work?

Drives: / \ (heel-out)
prop

Drives: \ / (heel- in)
prop

I did ask PQ, and they apparently haven't tried anything, this is their response:
"I went and asked our motor guy what we set at and it is 35” on the center of the drive shaft. We have not tried to toe them in or out."

Thanks for the info!!

What do you care since you never seem to drive your boat?

Bill and I checked my drives yesterday and found them to be out about 5/8". Adjusted them to between 1/16" and 1/8" in. Hopefully I will be testing soon.
