Default Has anyone been down to Sonic factory lately ?

Did you see a used 45' , white with black stripes?

Thats my friends boat . It was there for some repairs . He flew down the other day just to check it out and they wouldn't let him see it ! SO he came home ........ $500 down the drain !

In my opinion , If it was my boat , they would have a problem !

I wonder whats up with that ? I thought they were trying to be extra good to the customers to benifit their name and their boat sales .....

Anyone have any input on this matter ? Joe

I was down there the week of the Miami Boat Show, but I did not see the boat. I did not go inside the factory though, just the front of the bay, and the offices.

Boot,

I drive by the factory twice a day, and have never seen the boat there, not outside at least. There seems to be very little going on around there lately, a few small boats outside in the lot, and some fishin boats, about half the employees cars as back in Dec. Maybe they moved it up to Stuart, but I thought Hollywood was going to be the repair facility??? If for some reason you need something from them(someone to take some photos, etc), let me know, that is if they will let me in.

Rick

well that's F-ed up.

I would have told them that i left something in the boat and it was an emergency that i get it out. and if that didn't work, i would have pretended the gas pedal stuck on the rental, and drove through thier bay door.

you never know when that extra $9 rental insurance will come in handy

You may want to PM "Vagrant"

He was down there in January and got the tour. I believe LobsterBoy was with him also.

Not to Rub IT IN but I told you so a year ago. Thats why I sold my Sonic. It seems like the new owner does not care about his customers.

Can they legally keep you from your boat? There is no way I would have turned around and just come home.
