Default 500hp valve springs

what is the best valve spring for hp500 carb, year 2000 motors. also thinking of going to 1.8 ratio rockers. what do you think. also part #s would be great.

This subject has almost been covered as much as what oil are you using Try a search.

My opinion, use the Comp Cam springs. If you plan on putting a larger profile cam into this motor then the Isky spring may be a better choice but for now save your money the Comps are fine.

1:8 ratio I would just change cams and keep my valve trane geometry the way it is now.

The #1 change on this motor seems to be heads and cam for an increase of 50 to 75 HP.
