Question Bronze/Brass impeller housing for Gen V/VI water/fuel pump assembly??

Does anyone know of a brass or bronze impeller housing that will fit on to the GEN V/VI as a direct replacement for the plastic Merc housing?

Thanks,
Dave

Are you losing 1 piece housings due the plastic melting where the impeller rides (end of housing)?

Marine trans I have noted with the new one piece housings the ends burn up as you said. The old three piece units with the stainless ends lasted better.Gotta admit the one piecers are easier to install.Dave I would be interested if you found a brass housing as it should limit water pump maintenance to impellers.

It seems to just wear on the end and inside diameter faster than normal.

No such thing?
