Default Fountain fastest production boat

i think that i have the answer to the Fountain Outerlimits battle. Fountain can change their advertising to

fountain the fastest production V bottom boat made !

outerlimits can advertise as

outerlimits the fastest custom V bottom boat made !

and those who know, know

One small correction: change 'boat' to 'v-hull'. . . . otherwise - just right.

I ain't takin sides but neither boat was anywhere near a "production" boat. They were both race boats in my book. I can put a cabin or some extra seats in a race boat and call it a pleasure boat or production boat or whatever. I think we all know what it really is; a race boat with extras.

It is what it is.

You guys crack me up.

Hmmmm...

What is a race boat?: Maybe ... a race boat is a custom built boat (versus built on a production line) with a canopy for safety. Both boats seem to fit this criteria. You guys are splitting hairs.

If they took that Fountain and put in a cabin, etc in it would you then call it a pleasure boat? Or would you still call it a race boat? Hmmmm...

You are either both right, or both wrong. You can decide. I do enjoy the war though.

Does it really matter? I LOVE and prefer V-bottoms but we all know a Skater will smoke any V-bottom out there with equal power so everybody relax. You are fighting over second place. It is what it is.
