By the way, have you written Judge Berrigan and told her how this has affected you and your family? You have the right to be heard in the sentencing. If the defendant's actions have cost you money, she can order restitution. Also, under Sentencing Guideline 5K2.7 she can depart above the guidelines because his conduct resulted in a significant disruption of a governmental function. (The USPO never includes 5K2.1 through 5K2.21 when doing PSRs, but you can point it out to the judge.)
