Why?

It's that time again!
With the passing of every year my boat is another year older.
Every year, my boat has depreciated further and is worth less.
Every year, I am one year older.
With each new year, I have gained another year of experience.
With every year, my driving record get better...another year without a single claim, violation, citation...nothing.
But alas, every year MY BOAT INSURANCE WANTS MORE AND MORE!

My insurance says they now want $1600(up from 1350) from me for the year!
WTF, it's a 25 Outlaw, stock engine, does all of 68 on it's best day and I have a golden record. It's as clean as can be. It's ridiculous! I know many of you who pay less than half of that for boats twice the size and power.

BD, true. I pay $530/yr. It all depends on your coverages, and WHERE you boat. Most all of us up here have layup periods, AND they know we do not boat as often as you do. Its all in calculated risk.
