Tell me about the Bertram Barron
#1
I was looking at a 28' Bertram hull sitting in a marina this weekend. What is the history of this boat? It looks like it was a pretty nice package back in its day. Was this a competitor of the early Cigarettes? Are they worth anything today?

The orriginal Bertram Baron boat for their brochure - was mine - I repowerd it - enjoyed it - and sold it -
it was my first Offshore race- and I won it - in 1972 - the beginning of what was eventually to become NNRT
I have a few photos left -
email me with your email address - and I will send you some photos -

That is a BARON,
The seats were so close togeather you had to spin one sideways to get to the back seat, an slide between them.
They only came with two power options.
Twin 351 Fords- volvo drives- 270- no trim.
Twin Mercs. 165's Merc Drive, U could trim that baby.
I'm not sure but i think they only made 12 of them.
