I made a phone call to BOB since my insurance was coming due and he just saved me a bundle! My insirance rate has almost been cut in half!

Boat-U.S. wanted $1517.00 to renew and Bob quoted me $824.00 for, get this...BETTER coverage!!!

I spoke with most of the insurance underwriters in 2000 when I bought my Hustler Slingshot with 800SC's. Bob struck me as being a real straightshooter. It's getting hard to get coverage today at any price, but Bob's done a great job minimizing the yearly increases for me

I agree with all the above. My only problem with Bob is you can't have a short conversation with the man. He keeps you on the phone forever!

I was talking to a neighbor (who is a yacht salesmen) this past weekend. He was telling me one of the largest underwriters in Houston told him in a few years NO ONE will wright a policy on these boats. He said any boat that runs over 50 mph will have a hard time finding insurance. Is there any truth to this? Or is this guy just blowing smoke?

I'd hate to see these boats go the way of the muscle cars of the early 70's.

I'll stay with the man as long as I own a boat. I was laughed out of the ballpark at age 27 buying a 29 Powerquest w/ 7.4s, and not only did he talk to me when others wouldn't give the time of day, but he beat the pants off others that did quote me.
