The weather is looking good for Sat! High of 78, no rain, sunny, 10-15 knot winds, light chop, 2-3' seas.

I'm going to try and make it out there.

Yes it is...You can't get to the back side of the island, which is where all the fun and partying is going on. You can, however, anchor on the gulf side and walk across. It's a small island.

I've lost two impellors and two afternoons behind a tow boat to Shell key.

We can hang on the outside of the island.

Hey Mike, I wouldn't recommend it...It can be a little wavy on the outside, plus you have to anchor and then walk in...It kind of dulls the fun factor a little. If you're bring the little guy along, I'd stay on the inside. More fun that way. Anyway, I have a lot going on this weekend, but I'm itchin' to get out for a ride. I'm going to do my best to get out there.

Nick..can't call you cyberboater anymore...thats my title now Motor is back together and ready to run. However Shell Island is not one of my favorite places to go. It's shallow and too many people. I have sucked sand just about everytime I have been . Just a week or 2 back, Wildthing had his new Pantera out there & sucked sand Last time I had a prop on loan...went to Shell...bought the prop. With my luck I'll hopefully see you guy's out there running. Who else is headed out?
