Harmonic Balancer won't "pop off"

We have the correct puller on the thing, but we can’t get it to “pop off” using a large pry bar, impact wrench, and/or after heating it.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Be sure you have the puller screw lubricated and after tightening the screw as tight as you can, tap the puller screw with a mallet to move the balancer a touch. retighten and tap,,,,,,,, you're going to want to magnaflux that crank when you get it out. Just to be sure it isn't cracked.

Yeah, be sure to work a blob of grease into the female threads of the puller and work it back and forth.
Grease the end of the crank where the puller tip goes in (if you have a "dead" end on the puller screw - if you have a "live" or floating end, then ignore that).
Use a penetrating lube such as Aerokroil on the crank and damper bore. Let it sit overnight.
Put the puller on. Tighten her up good.
Put an air wrench on the nut at medium pressure (not full pressure on a CP744, that will just bust the puller screw off). Let it hammer as long as you can hold it, then pass the task off to a buddy. The vibration should work the penetrant into the bore and it should come off after less than 5 minutes.
At any point that the screw on the puller gets hot, you must stop and let it cool.

ok this soudns kinda retarted but i had eth same issue a few weeks back. Make sure you removes the littel cap dealy in the center of the balancer. I actually boke a balancer puller crankign on it so hard with the cap thing in place. I figured it was just rusted in place.
Afte ri broke it i looked ta it and the thign was there. I bought anew puller removed teh cap and cranked and it came right off.

teh scariest part abtou breakign teh balancer. I codn;t figure it out and my buddy coudln;e figure dit out.
And the two of us make up the "pit crew" for a national race team. NOt to mention he's designed and biult a FSAE car from the ground up. And we were still just cranking away witaht breaker bar and a 5' long hunk of pipe.

we have once tried almost everything on a gm 4.3l V6, the damn thing didnt come off, so we heated it with a torch till it finally popped off.
what i want to say is it may well be you will have to accept that you will destroy it to get it off and need a new one, anyway.

Thanks for the responses.
We were thread locked, possibly a bent puller bolt.
We got another puller (large threads, not the machine threads), lubed it up as suggested and bam, came right off.
I think the lube would have worked on the first one, so lesson learned!
