Default drive showers

planning on putting drive showers on my b-1's this season. question is which
type. i have seen the halo design by simrek with the dual water pickups and 90 degree tips. they claim to move the most water, and the 90 degree tip is supposed to work at all trim locations. problem: they are unattractive. the other choice is the single water top cap model with 45 degree tip, which has a much better look. anyone running either of these. which do you think is better? cost is about the same...

I'm using the Innovative Marine shower and have been very happy with their product.

I have to Simreks on mine. they're the simplest , cheapest and coolest. Yeah , not the prettiest , but why pay more for less?

Any design with the 45* pickup will not work as well as the Simreks that have the 90*, regardless of maker.

See if the one you like cosmetically can be altered to the 90* pickup.

My 1st shower had the 45* and it was a very very poor performer. I'm on my 3rd Halo now because it pours water all over the drives under pressure.

I bought mine for function, but then I do prefer the looks of it too, so it was a win win situation for myself.

From a flow perspective, Innovative has a swept 90 deg ice cream scoop shape too it- theoretically better than simrek's 90 becasue the water does not slam into a 90 degree wall. That said, i'm sure either works fine.
