Question Tail gate cable for 1999 Chevy 1/2 Ton P/U

I keep beaking the tail gate cables on my truck. I KNOW I KNOW I should lose weight, but that just ain't gonna happen. Does anyone know if I can buy these items after market at an auto parts store?

If so, which store (i.e. chains) and how much?

Thanks,

Shane

That would have been my first choice. If not them try NAPA. All else fails the dealer will have them

Let me know. I run a body shop during the week and can get parts at considerable discounts.
