Didn't we race there a year or so ago?
If this is the same place, it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL !!!!
Not real "touristy", but peaceful, beautiful and great beaches.

Just back from there last week.
There was a bill fish tournament and spring break going at the same time, was crazy at night. It is supposed to be very quiet 99% of the time though.
We found a beach called Tranquility Shores, absolutely the best beach I've seen, it looked just like a Corona ad.
Very deserted most of the time , just cruise ship passengers for a few hours on Sat. ,then empty. Has a great beach front bar and restaurant, try the cracked conch (your wife will thank you)

I forgot one thing. If you do go make sure one evening when at the bar the group all tries Painkiller #4's. If you have any muscle aches I guarantee they will all be gone after one of those.

I was there for new years 2003, nice place. If you go by boat they've raised the fees though. The marina there has a good pool bar that serves food.

I wish I did!!!!! We would have been drinking them the night at D&B's in Philly if I had it. My guess is that it is made up of stuff that is only available in the Bahamas.

I was at Pussers this weekend in Lucaya, Grand Bahama, home of the Painkiller.

4 parts pinapple juice
1 part orange juice
1 part cream of coconut
4 ounces of Pussers Rum

serve over ice, shake and sprinkler nutmeg on top.

Enjoy!!!
