I have a 302 that I just recently repowered with 502's and I would really like to hear from other owners as to how their boats are set up and permorming. I have stock 502's (injected) (415 hp) with Stainless Marine exhaust and Vortex air intake. I am running Bravo I drives (1.5/1) with Bravo 1 four (4) blade 26P props. I am currently getting 75 MPH on GPS at 5000 RPM's. What are you other owners getting out of your boats???

I have and 01 302 w 454 mag mpi's bravos with 3 blade mirage stock pitch --- I think they are 25's but I don't know---- I get about 68-70 depending on fuel, load and weather. turns about 5100 rpms. But the hull of the boat has problems and it is at baja right now supposedly getting fixed.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with the hull. What kind of problems???? I have had some problems, headlinner, wood rot behind the vinyl in cockpit, etc. More workmanship issues than anything else. I did the engine swap because the previous owner did not take care of them. I can only assume that he did not take very good care of the boat either. I am replacing as things fail. I do like the boat's size and the way it handles. It is nice to have the cabin when needed. Hope you get your issues solved.

I have the same boat, with stock exhaust - getting revolutions this early summer. I'm seeing a little bit better than you, but I am running labbed mirage plus's.

The boat lists to the right when running. It has a hook in the hull on one side and a rocker on the other. Baja has had the boat since november and they have not done sh!t with it yet. I have been dealing with the problems since I bought the boat and the dealership has done nothing to help me. i am super frustrated. You can read about the problems in the archives. Go the the search part of the baja forum and type Baja 302. The title of the tread is " Baja wants to "fix" the hull of my boat what should I do".
