I am giving an open invitation to all OSO members to party in April.

We will meet Friday evening, April 16th, at Carlos'N Charlies on Lake Travis in Austin, TX.

The next day there is a Baja Poker Run sponsored by Ski Dock. You must own a Baja to buy a hand, but anyone can "run the run".

After the Poker Run, we will all raftup in Devil's Cove. It will be "rocking" in April!

The best place to launch is at the Mansfield Dam Park.

You can tieup at Carlos'N Charlies and sleep on your boat.

If you want to get a hotel room, then check out the Lakeway Inn. You should be able to get a slip at the Lakeway Marina.

Not to sound dumb, but how long is that lake? looking at the map for the baja run its quite a distance.

Carlos'N Charlies is at Mile Marker 9. Ridge Harbor (which is usually a stop) is at Mile Marker 45.

Clay, how far is it from lakeway to Carlos and Charlies? Would it be worth just getting a slip at Carlos and Charlies over Lakeway?

The end is in sight! The motor is on the engine stand in my garage! Although I suspect that my machine shop screwed me. I KNOW the block did not get hot tanked, makes me wonder if it got magnafluxed.
