Possibly buying a '04 29 Outlaw. Will the new Nissan Armada pull it? 9100LBS rating?

Derek,,, the 30 weighs in at 7,000 then figure 500 for fuel and 1,500 min. for dual alum. trailer 2,000 for steele, and even more for a triple axle. so your right at that max at about 9,500 . Good luck hope it works out..

I pull my 29 outlaw with a f-250 super duty V-10 very happy. thats a big boat you will need a good size truck to pull it. good luck

I do not advise ever towing at or near your vehicle's max tow rating. It's jusr asking for trouble.

I would recommend no less than a 3/4-ton for a 29 Outlaw.

FYI, most dealers will deliver a 29 OL on a triple axle trailer.

Very true, Chris. If it's only a couple miles to a local ramp, I would go for it too. But not long distances.

I wouldn't make a habit out of towing large distances with a truck/trailer combo that was right @ the limit. a couple of trips through out the summer should be o.k.

I'm going to run into the same problem w/ my set up.. 01 f-150 screw-cab 5.4L 3.77 gears w/ a max tow rating of 7,100 w/ the boat and trailer comming in at about 6,500 - 7,000. I plan to take 3 trips this summer, lake george, lake champlain, 1000 islands. I guss I will have to see how she pulls...

Derek, I just purchased a 2004 29 sse outlaw with twin 496 mags. I tow it with a 2004 F150 3.73 rearend tow rating is 9500lbs and it tows just fine i figure the boat and triple axel trailer weigh 8500lbs dry. My boat ramp is only 5-7 min from where i do most of my boating. But I make 5-7 trips a year that require a 2-5 hour tow and wont have any problem. Do a search for 29 tow info and you will find the post i did there is some good info there. Hell iam even going to tow it to the gulf coast to my beach house. The F250 would be best but 90% of the time i tow nothing at all and 85% of the time i do tow its right there, did not want to drive a land yacht all the time. Hope this helps Cya

For the most part, max vehicle tow ratings are dependent upon the vehicles ability to brake, not necessarily engine or load capacity. That and wheelbase length drive tow rating.
Leave your self a good cushion in case an emergency arrives and you should be OK.
