Anyone ever had excessive block pressure with stock Merc cooling set-ups? Circulating pumps and thermostat housings??

The only times I've heard of an issue is when aftermarket exhaust is used. Sometimes the exhaust is restrictive, so the pressure builds.

Well I have EMI exhaust......

Dyno, we put a guage on Wade's last summer and found nothing out of the ordinary, around 5 pounds at idle with 15-17 at wot. We can check yours if you'd like. I think wade still has the guage.
