Question No More APBA Sponsorship for OSO?

From the look of things, APBA has stopped sponsoring OSO. Is this true?

If so, OSO lost one, but picked up two. SBI & OSS are proudly flying their colors up on the OSO Advertising banners....

There was a heated thread going in the racers section..............but it has been deleted. A lot of "he said, she said" and "he wasn't authorized to say that" kind of stuff.

I find it so hard to believe that this sort of thing could happen in an APBA-related thread!

Two things are pretty much guaranteed to send a thread straight into the crapper - mentioning "Apache" or "APBA".....

OSO still has a link on their site, though.

I was lurking and saw that some of the people that BASHED me for asking the TOUGH questions of Mike A. are now racing OSS! Funny cuz these same guys were standing steadfastly behind MA at the time. Like Too Old said...GO POKER RUNNING!

Default Dear Shane

Shane,
We have agreed on many threads in the past. We still agree on this one. Everyone who wants to Poker Run should do so.

But I respectfully ask that you (and Too Old) consider your boating brothers who have chosen to race. Especially those of us that have nothing to do with the politics involved.

Most of us hate the politics and the bull****. But this is our time to participate. We have our lives and finances at a place that allows us to race now. As you know, it does not always last.

For us, the flags are still dropping. The parties are still fun and we are making lifetime friendships.

We can argue this in late November. But from where I'm sitting 2004 is looking very interesting.
