Default multi viscosity motor oil

What kind of earl you run? I know, the book says Merc recommends single grade blah blah, I filled up with Valvoline 20/50 full synthetic racing oil. What I've noticed already is less smoke/vapor coming from the crank vents in the valve covers.

Thoughts?

You're talking about the MX4T, right? I used to run it in my turbo Hayabusa, killer for a hi perf bike motor.

If you use conventional oils, use a straight weight.

A synthetic will be listed as a multigrade, but they are still a "straight weight" for the most part.
