Does that mean my stock Merc 454 mag stuff with a good filter? I'm running aeromotive pumps and will be making about 550-600HP with a carbed procharger set-up.The inputs are 1/4" NPT,what's the best way to go from #10 AN hose coming out of the pump to two 1/4" NPTs?Some type of fuel rail? Then it's back into one #10 into the regulator, then out in #6s to the carb box.

I don't know if the Merc one is good enough, but if you have a fuel pressure gauge you can see for yourself. There are some pictures on our website that show NEVRENUFF's Procharger install. He used a big Keith Eikhart fuel filter with his Aeromotive pump.

It's cutting it a little close but seems like if one 1/4 line was enough for 365HP then 2 should handle 600?As long as my filter is free enough. Can I use the big fram filters on my Merc stuff? My pump is a little overkill for the power I'll make so I was hoping it would overcome a little restriction.I'll have more in plumbing than the filter housing by running tees etc.I may try it and watch the fuel press guage,,,hell I don't know

my procharged hp 500 with aeromotive pump has the large hight flow filter housing that cp performance or eddie marine sells it has 1/2 npt in and out and takes a fram 5062m high flow filter which wont screw onto your housing.i would get that set up thats all you need.not as fancy as the KE set up but less $.

Get the best filter that you can afford. Why would you chance frying your engine over a $100. part? In my opinion: "maybe it'll work" is not good enough. I use the new Hardin filters (similar to the KE part) and -10 (1/2") lines through the filters and into the pumps on my blown engines.
My 2 cents.
