Thumbs up PQ Appreciation

Just wanted to post a compliment to Rick Gemmel at PQ . As busy as they are at the plant they found time to re-upholster my rear bench and sundeck. And might I say at lightening speed (about 1 week) and the work was top quality, and the price was very fair. I’m sure you won’t get that kind of service from a larger manufacture. And as we all know that’s how customer loyalty is built. I’ll soon be making the move to larger boat and PQ will be at the top of the list!

Thanks again Brian

You guys are lucky to be close enough to the factory to get that kind of hands on support. They sure have been supportive of us guys down here in Virginia....when called upon.

As the past owner of MANY brands of boats, PQ customer service is by far the best I've ever encountered.

Thumbs up

It is very difficult to accomplish "the Goal" of making money while delighting your customers and building a quality product. If one attempts to do this, there is a secret ingredient that I believe is required to make it successful.

Customers must give praise as it is the most important advertising strategy any company could have.

I for one, am new to the powerboat game but I do know first hand that PQ is going the extra step to make their customers ecstatic

PQ folks are great and we should recognize their efforts with appropriate thumbs up....

My boat is an 1989, when they were still calling them Powerplay boats, and I called them looking for a part for the boat. Rick Gemmil is who I spoke to. He could have blown me off easily, but he took the time to try to find the part, and when he could not, he pointed me in the right direction to get it made. I was very impressed. I will definitely be looking at another Powerquest when I am ready to move up, but, Damn, this one I have is holding up so well, its hard to convince the wife thats its time. Thanks alot Powerquest....

I had a similar experience with replacing some vinyl that got damaged. Rick was very helpful in assisting me with locating the correct replacement color from the manufacturer. Now I have some stress cracks in the gellcoat on the nose. Anyone had luck getting that fixed under warranty?

I second and third this thought that Bill said. They are #1 for customer service and PR. Rick G is tops.........he has bent over back-wards with my problems with the new 380. I bought the factory demo and it a few hours on it, but I really don't think that anyone took time to really TLC the boat. All is fine, just a few little issues. But objects, parts and things I needed were he at the house within a few days.............New Holland to Pittsburgh..no problem

Yes, but Bill is now the happy owner of a 38TG TS with 575's. We no longer run side by side.
