Does anyone know if a 540 with a Az Speed efi unit can accomodate a whipple off of a hp500 efi?
What needs to be done to make the conversion? I'm thinking high 800's for hp...sound right?
thanks

A HP500 EFI with an intercooled Whipple is good for 725 hp if that helps any.

It would be best to go with a custom Whipple setup and upgrade to a 3.3 litre charger, rather than the smaller one on the HP500 kit. Dustin can make you a hybrid system for this, 800 ponies is easy with a 540. I'm a Whipple dealer and I've looked at doing this for my own boat.
