Cool OT-$500K bike???

I had no idea what history I took a photo of when I shot this.

It was during bike week in Daytona and I just happened to see an add for the museum before I left to go up to Daytona.

The Chopper father-son team discussed this on the Leno show the other night. It is made from 100% copper that was removed from the Statue of Liberty during it's restoration. They called it "Liberty Bike"

When I saw it in person I never even noticed the face on the front wheel hub. Damn..It's tough bein a Blue Hair

sorry.
It just does nothing for me.

The new/old Ducati in the background is cool, though.

Did you hear Jay give them some chit bout the bike they bult for him? Apparently the bike stopped dead and left Jay stranded. Turns out the ignition was wired though the tail light. Bulb blew and bike was dead. Im suprised Jay called em out on it.

Its on right now and their wiring skills suck. Someone needs to teach them to heat the connection, not the solder. The guy was dropping globs of solder onto the connection. They just ran the wires through the frame then drilled holes in the frame and were very careful nit to frill into the wires. Then they screwed allens into the frame. Wonder how long until that chafes the wires?

==========

What really was surprising is that he did it live on national TV. They sure as hell looked shocked when he dropped it on them...
