Does anyone know who is gonna build Reggie's engines for his next attemp at setting the "V" bottom record?

Pratt and Whitney? General Electric? Maybe a Scram Jet or a Pulse Jet? I bet Sterling, that way HE can't lose

I heard he's building 2000hp alcohol drag race motors.

Should be interesting if they can live the distance.

I know there is a twin 1600 hp boat being prepared(not at NC) and they are Sterlings-I think. I may be going down for the attempt so I'll let you know. It will be soon.

I heard the deposit for the motors has been sent and it didn't go to Sterling!! Any guesses?????



I'll give you a hint..... they are more than 1600 ponies each and their built in IOWA...

The XXX boat had Injector hats on it. I bet it probably was more hp than they claimed.

Its not hard build a 2000 Blown alcohol motors. look at the Fastest street car shoot out motors . There 2500-2700hp now.and the small block Turbo motors are higher.

My guess would be Troy Dennis if he is still around. Reggie used him a lot in the past. He built the alcohol motors that were in Jack Carmody's Fountain that Reggie st the record at 131.94 back 95 or 96 with.
