Hope to get my carb back from Nickerson in a week or two. A fellow site member suggested putting a 1 inch spacer under the carb.
What do you guys think about spacers between the carb and intake? Is there an advantage to these? And if so, is a 1 incher the way to go?
Thanks

Here is an older thread on this subject.

Some good info.
Also Crane Cams has just introduced a new spacer that claim will add op to 22hp. That would be 1 mph!
Check their website Cranecams.com

KV38, so an open spacer would be the way to go for cruise to WOT. Would the open have any negative affect on the current low to mid range performance. Or negative affect at idle speeds for maneuvering or docking?
Thanks

Kidnova,
Some online information re carb spacers. On the Wilson site click catalog, then go to spacers. Should help give some insight on the topic.
