I had the great experience of a ride in the 36' "Cat Outta Hell" boat that was showcased in last months Hot Boat magazine. I was so uderly blown away by that ride that I'm still smiling non-stop
Gary Miller owns the boat and took me out on it on Lake Lewisville. Our first run was 128mph, then on the return, we hit 134mph
I know that Hot Boat only got 123 out of the boat, but it has a LOT more than that in it.
Just wanted to commend the guys at Nor-Tech and all you proud owners on such a nice built pieces of hardware.

Corey,
Thanks for the compliments.
Yeah we ran that boat at 147MPH the day before the trial.
If you read the article, Hot Boat was testing in very rough and windy conditions. There was no way they could run the boat any faster in that type of water.
Too bad because some people only see the top speed # without understanding why.
So you want one?
Terry

I am actually just getting into my 382, but I know I will outgrow it pretty quick.
To answer your question...HELL YEAH!!
I would love a 43'V. I think that boat has some of the best lines I've ever seen. It would look pretty good sittin' next to Gary's boat at the docks to boot.

Does anyone have any pics they can post of Terry's boat? I'm sure I've probably seen it, but wouldn't know whose it was. It is my dream to be in a 90mph 43 in a couple of years.
What kind of power is Terry running?
What numbers will 3X575's produce?

TS's demo boat is on the Nortech website. Look under 'additional photos' and click on the 43 v-hull tab. Terry's boat is grey at the bow. blue in the middle, and some lime green at the stern. He as the yellow and chrome engines (photos in this same section). Engines are 900s.

I had a 43 black thunder and I can assure you Terrys boat is overall a far superior boat. The Nor-tech cuts through the waves and handles like a champ. At the shoot out BT ran the flat deck ,not the sc.Terry would have spanked them. I have been in TS's boat with 9 people and still ran over 90. If you run in each of these you will fell the difference, and the cabin comforts are very close in comps. :d
